CatchOn TV on a Samsung or LG TV

Recent Samsung and LG sets run an IPTV player on their own. The app comes from the TV's store, the HDMI ports stay free, and there is nothing extra to buy.

Open the TV's app store

  1. 1.Samsung: press Home, go to Apps and use the magnifying glass to search.
  2. 2.LG: press Home, open the LG Content Store and search from there.

Install a player

    Free, and in both stores.

Note.Both stores carry these two players, and both players take the same Xtream Codes details.

Sign in

Open the player, choose Xtream Codes, and type in the username, password and server address. The password is case-sensitive, so check it before pressing Connect.

A Firestick in one HDMI port adds TiviMate if you want a richer guide, and Roku has a route of its own. Read the channel list before you choose.
