CatchOn TV on Roku

Roku keeps its store closed, which leaves two ways in: one real player from the Channel Store, or casting from a phone in the same room.

IBO Player Pro

  1. 1.In the Roku Channel Store, search for IBO Player Pro and add it to the Roku.
  2. 2.Open the app and go to Account. Write down the MAC address and the Device Key it shows.
  3. 3.On a phone or computer, open iboproapp.com, choose Manage Playlists and sign in with that MAC address and Device Key.
  4. 4.Pick Add XC Playlist, give it a name, and fill in the server, username and password from your WhatsApp message.
  5. 5.Back on the Roku, restart the app and select the playlist you added.
Note.The app is free for a week, then one payment on iboproapp.com with the same MAC address and Device Key. The 12-month VIP plan includes a year of it.

Casting from a phone

  1. 1.Install Web Video Cast on an Android or iOS phone.
  2. 2.Open the menu, choose IPTV and add your playlist address.
  3. 3.Tap the cast icon and pick the Roku. Phone and Roku must be on the same Wi-Fi.

IBO Player Pro is the Roku route, and casting covers everything else. Samsung and LG TVs are a bit more open, and a Firestick runs every player in these guides, TiviMate included. Read the channel list before you set anything up.
